Liam is a senior partner on our pension team and has extensive experience advising employers, trustees and pension plan providers, in addition to working for the company`s independent trust company. Liam recognizes that every pension plan and client is different, providing strategic advice as well as technical legal input and providing insight into options and tactics to achieve his clients` goals. Liam is the daily contact for a number of clients. He advises on plan governance, trustee discretion, automatic enrolment, business and asset sales, plan buyouts, buyouts and settlements, pension splitting, transfers, GMP and GDPR compliance. He has also advised trustees and employers in pension disputes. These vary in size and complexity, and include advice on individual member complaints and negligence claims against former consultants, as well as more important actions regarding documentation issues. Liam is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and the Scottish Financial Enterprise Young Professionals Forum. 10 years later, what can I say? Automatic registration is always successful.
